SafeCape Software Solutions P.C. (SafeCape Παραγωγή Λογισμικού ΙΚΕ), 96 Dimitriou Gounari, 151 25 Marousi, Greece, VAT EL998146532.
SafeCape's sign-in service (idp.onsafecape.gr, on Microsoft Azure in Ireland) receives from Microsoft the user's name, their account (e.g. name@office.com) and the identifiers of the account and of the organisation. It uses them to find the Insurance.Office user that the office's user administrator has mapped to that account.
The office's database records the mapping and every sign-in: time, Microsoft 365 account, computer name, Windows user and application version. The Microsoft 365 password never passes through SafeCape.
With the approval of the “SafeCape Insurance.Office” application, Insurance.Office on the user's computer shows, in a contact's card, the user's mail with that contact. When the user asks for it, it can also prepare a draft or send an email from the user's account.
Communication is directly between the user's computer and Microsoft, and the access keys are kept in the user's Windows profile. Mail does not pass through SafeCape servers and SafeCape has no access to it. Each user sees only their own mailbox. The application has no access to other users' mailboxes, nor while the user is not signed in.
The office is the data controller. For the services it hosts, SafeCape acts as a processor on behalf of the office. The terms are set out in the agreement with the office and in the data processing agreement.
The office's Microsoft 365 administrator can withdraw the approval at any time, in the Microsoft Entra admin center → Enterprise applications. The Insurance.Office user administrator removes Microsoft 365 accounts from the user's card.
The terms of use of Insurance.Office and its related services are set out in the subscription or purchase agreement the office signs with SafeCape.
